Family Storytime Early Years

Join us at the Acton Branch or the Georgetown Branch on Saturday mornings at 10 am for our drop-in Family Storytime! Explore new themes each week through stories, rhymes, and songs!

No registration is required. We kindly ask that you save any snacks or refreshments for after the program has ended.

Spend your afternoon with us! Join us from 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. for a family board game cafe in the program room and outdoor games in the plaza! (Weather permitted).

Fee: $40 for materials.

Explore your creativity and learn a new hobby in this crafting program! Each week we'll explore and create a different type of handmade craft, including felting, Cricutting, beading, and more. No experience is needed.

Rainbow Film Series: Lady Bird Teen

Join us in the John Elliott Theatre for a free screening of Lady Bird as part of our Rainbow Film Series.

The film follows a teenager (Saoirse Ronan) who navigates a loving but turbulent relationship with her mother (Laurie Metcalf) over the course of an eventful and poignant senior year of high school.

Writers Circle Adult

This is a virtual program and will be offered through Zoom.

Our writers' group meets monthly to provide support and encouragement to new, aspiring, and experience writers of all types of prose, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction works. Each meeting provides the opportunity for writers to share their works-in-progress and receive constructive comments from other group members. Whether you are new to writing or already have work published or unpublished, come and join our friendly group!

Caregiver Burnout and Stress Workshop - The Ontario Caregiver Organization Adult

Join us at the Georgetown branch to register for the club and pick up your TD Summer Reading Club notebook.

Take a trip to outer space with our green screen and participate in our lawn games and carnival games outside in the plaza!

Next, head inside to check out a special exhibit on loan from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and the Canadian Space Agency. "Space to Spoon" is an interactive experience for all ages. Learn the benefits of space technology for Canadian farmers and sustainable agriculture.

Exam Cram Extended Hours Teen

Come study in the library, pick up a study essentials kit and enjoy some snacks!

All high school students are welcome to stay in the library past regular closing times to study for exams or
work on end of term projects.

Make sure you arrive at the library before regular closing time and bring your student ID to take advantage of
extended hours!
