Halton Garden Week: Seedy Saturday All Ages

Stop by and visit the Library's information table at Halton Garden Week's Seedy Saturday, located at the Milton Sports Centre. We’ll have a selection of seeds available through a Pop-Up Seed Library, resources that can be signed out with your library card, as well as garden-themed bookmarks that can be taken home and coloured.

Seedy Socials: Drop-in Seed Packaging for Adults Adult

This is a drop-in program. Participants can arrive any time during the stated program time.

Looking for a volunteer opportunity that supports the Library and connects you with others in the local community?

Join us for Seedy Socials in the Studio at the Georgetown Branch, select Wednesdays from February 7 to May 15, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Participants will assist library staff with processing our Seed Library inventory in a social environment, including counting seeds using measuring spoons, applying labels to seed envelopes, and separating donated seeds from the surrounding plant material. No experience required.

Seed Library: Spring Seed Drop All Ages

This is a drop-in program. Participants can arrive any time during the stated program time.

Starting today, visit the Seed Library cabinet at either Branch of the Library to browse our spring release of seeds. An assortment of flower, herb and vegetable seeds with sow dates between April and June will be available.
